Privacy Policy
How we handle the personal information you share with us.
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers.
Boiler Repairs Birmingham ("we", "us", "our") arranges boiler repair and servicing for homeowners in Birmingham, carried out by independent Gas Safe registered heating engineers. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, postcode, the description of your boiler problem and, if you choose to give it, a phone number. If you email us, we keep your email and the details in it.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and arrange for a suitable local Gas Safe registered engineer to contact you about the work. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in operating an enquiry service. We do not use your details for marketing without your separate consent.
Who we share it with
To fulfil your enquiry, we pass your details to an independent, Gas Safe registered engineer who covers your area, so they can contact you. We also use a third-party form provider (Web3Forms) to deliver the enquiry to us securely. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, and then delete them.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@boilerrepairsbirmingham.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
